Our Story
I grew up in a home where Ayurveda wasn’t just a philosophy but a way of life. As a teenager, I delighted in pampering my skin and hair with efftive DIY creations from our kitchen and garden. In my twenties, I wandered into the allure of luxurious beauty brands, but life had other plans for me.
The moment I became a mother, everything shifted. My baby became my world, and elaborate self-care routines faded into the background. Yet, a longing for simplicity and authenticity stirred within me. As I dug deeper into what we were consuming—food, skincare, haircare—I was shocked to uncover the harsh chemicals lurking in everyday products, even those labeled safe for babies.
Motivated by love and a fierce desire to protect my child, I returned to my roots. I rediscovered the magic of homemade remedies—millets and lentils for baby food, oil massages for hair, ayurvedic blends for coughs, and handmade soaps and shampoos. These age-old traditions worked like wonders, nurturing my family’s health and reigniting a connection to nature’s gentle wisdom.
However, sharing this knowledge and practices with other mothers, I realized the struggle balancing research, formulations with a full-time job and motherhood was overwhelming. This journey ignited a deeper purpose—to share the wisdom of natural, effective remedies with others. Inspired by this, I created products to share this simple, effective, and natural approach to wellness.
